I Carry Your Heart

Busride Books, 2023

Jiya is in Sydney, running away from the life she cherishes and the people she loves. Aazar is in London, running away from her. Each have left Islamabad in the wake of the aftermath of a fateful family meeting that seals their fate together, just like they had both desired, but that also unravels family secrets that had been buried for decades, driving them away from each other. A culturally rich story, woven through family values, friendships and love unfolds, and threatens to sever lifelong bonds. It is an age-old tale of the eternal struggle between ego and the yearning to relinquish inherited prejudices in the presence of love. Jiya is determined to fight for what she believes in, until she finds herself confronted with a heart-wrenching betrayal that forces her into a painful choice between her love and the mending of broken family ties...
